RR’s Amusing Reply to an Old Tweet by Salman

 

Essentially, after defeating Punjab, the RR team posted a video of cricketer Donovan Ferreira on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter). Alongside it, they shared an old tweet by Salman Khan dating back to 2014, in which he had asked, “Did Zinta’s team win?” This tweet was made in reference to Preity Zinta’s team. Responding to this, Donovan Ferreira quipped, “Sorry Bhai, not today.”

 

 

Punjab Suffers First Home Defeat of the Season

 

Batting first in the match played against the Rajasthan Royals, the Punjab Kings posted a total of 222 runs within their allotted 20 overs. For PBKS, the key contributors were Prabhsimran Singh (59), Priyansh Arya (29), Cooper Connolly (30), Shreyas Iyer (30), Marcus Stoinis (62*), and Suryansh (3*).

 

 

In reply, the RR team successfully chased down the target in 19.2 overs—powered by innings from Yashasvi Jaiswal (51), Vaibhav Suryavanshi (43), Donovan Ferreira (52*), and Shubham Dubey (31*)—thereby winning the match by 6 wickets.
