Relief news is coming in the country due to the shortage of corona vaccines. American company Pfizer told the central government that its vaccine is safe and highly effective for all people aged 12 years and above. The company claimed that this vaccine is also largely effective on the corona strains found in India first.

The company said that the vaccine can be stored for 2 months at a temperature of 2-8 degrees. Pfizer is ready to deliver 5 crore doses of vaccine to India from July to October 2021. However, for this, it has sought some other exemption from the government, including damages in case of loss.

Vaccine supply is not common in these circumstances: Pfizer

Pfizer recently held an important meeting with Indian officials. During this time the company presented trial data of several countries and the World Health Organization (WHO) on the vaccine. According to sources, in a meeting with India, Pfizer said that the situation in India and the world is not good at the moment. In such a situation, we should not treat the vaccine supply as a common process.

Center asked to consider the demands

According to sources, after the meeting of Center and Pfizer chairman Albert Burla, the two agreed on three key issues to speed up the approval of the Corona vaccine in India. This includes demands such as the purchase of vaccines through the Center, compensation for losses, liabilities, and necessary approval of research after approval. It is believed that the central government has assured to consider Pfizer's demand.

Trust WHO India

Pfizer said that the Indian government should rely on emergency approvals from WHO, including 44 countries. It also includes many European countries. On the same basis, he should also approve our vaccine for emergency use.
