Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a meeting with top officials just hours after the killing of a Hindu bank employee in Kashmir on Thursday. These officers included National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval and Research and Analysis Wing (RA) chief Samant Goel. The security situation in Jammu and Kashmir was discussed in the meeting. In the last meeting, instructions were given to eliminate terrorism

Officials said that the security arrangements for the annual Amarnath Yatra, being held after two years due to the Kovid epidemic, are also expected to be reviewed in the meeting. It is to be known that in the last meeting held in May, Shah had insisted on carrying out a coordinated anti-terror operation. He had directed the security forces to completely stop infiltration from across the border and completely wipe out terrorism from the Union Territory.
