The PM said, to give water security to the farmers, we started irrigation projects, launched a campaign to complete about 100 irrigation projects pending for decades.
Prime Minister Modi said, 'In recent years more than 1300 seed varieties of different crops have been prepared, in the same series today 35 more crop varieties are being dedicated at the feet of farmers.'
PM Modi said, 'In the last 6-7 years, science and technology are being used on a priority basis to solve the challenges related to agriculture. Our focus is very high on more nutritious seeds, adapted to new conditions, especially in changing climates.'

Another step is being taken related to this, with the hope of changing the lives of small farmers of the country, I am dedicating this huge gift to the feet of the farmers of my country.
Explain that these special varieties of crops have been developed by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. It aims to tackle the twin challenges of climate change and malnutrition. This pan-India event is being organized jointly by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), State and Central Agricultural Universities, and Krishi Vigyan Kendras.
Its objective is to create public awareness for adopting climate-friendly technologies along with providing options for high-earning crops to the farmers. During the same program, PM Modi will also inaugurate the newly constructed campus of the National Institute of Biologicals, Raipur. According to the information given from the Prime Minister's Office, on this occasion, PM Modi will interact with the farmers and address them. Along with this, Green Campus Awards will also be distributed to agricultural universities.
