PM Modi in Gujrat: PM Modi will give another gift to Gujarat, will visit Ahmedabad today, will inaugurate the headquarters of In-Space

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is about to give another gift to Gujarat. He will visit Ahmedabad on June 10. Here he will inaugurate the headquarters of the Indian National Center for Space Enhancement and Authorization (In-Space) at Bhopal. It was approved by the Union Cabinet in June 2020. According to the information, In-Space will be the nodal agency, which will allow space activities and non-government private entities to use the Department of Space-related facilities. It will aim to ensure maximum private participation in the space sector. The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) on its Twitter handle announced the inauguration of the In-Space Headquarters.

 

In-Space will be a single-window nodal agency

 

In-Space President Pawan Goenka tweeted that PM Modi will inaugurate the In-Space Headquarters at Bopal, Ahmedabad at 4.45 pm on 10th June 2022. I am happy to announce this. We look forward to working with industry and ISRO to develop the space sector. In-Space (IN-SPACe) will be the nodal agency to allow the use of Department of Space-owned facilities by non-government private entities and ensure their participation in the space sector. It will be a single-window nodal agency to allow and monitor space activities including the manufacturing of launch vehicles and satellites approved by the Union Cabinet in June 2020.

 

Big day for the space industry: President of In-Space

 

President of In-Space (IN-SPACe), Pawan Kumar Goenka told news agency ANI, 'It is a huge day for In-Space as well as the space industry as the Prime Minister himself has been appreciating the importance of In-Space to the world. The announcement, goal behind this is how India will promote the space sector. He added, “The primary problem we are trying to solve here is that the private sector is not active in the space sector, which is not the case with other developed countries in the space sector.
