It will aim to ensure maximum private participation in the space sector. The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) on its Twitter handle announced the inauguration of the In-Space Headquarters.

In-Space President Pawan Goenka tweeted that PM Modi will inaugurate the In-Space Headquarters at Bopal, Ahmedabad at 4.45 pm on 10th June 2022. I am happy to announce this. We look forward to working with industry and ISRO to develop the space sector. In-Space (IN-SPACe) will be the nodal agency to allow the use of Department of Space-owned facilities by non-government private entities and ensure their participation in the space sector. It will be a single-window nodal agency to allow and monitor space activities including the manufacturing of launch vehicles and satellites approved by the Union Cabinet in June 2020.
