Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mother Heeraba is unwell. Hiraba was admitted to the UN Mehta Hospital in Ahmedabad late on Tuesday night after he complained of breathlessness. A team of doctors from the hospital is continuously monitoring his health. On Wednesday, PM Modi reached UN Mehta Hospital in Ahmedabad to inquire about his health.
BJP's Rajya Sabha MP Jugalji Thakor told that the Prime Minister was worried about the health of mother Hiraba, but after talking to the doctors, he left for Delhi directly. Thakor claimed that Hiraba would be discharged from the hospital in the next two-three days. At present, his health is fine. The hospital issued a health bulletin on Wednesday afternoon saying that Hiraba's health is stable.
Hiraba celebrated his 99th birthday in June. Prime Minister Modi also came to meet him at that time.
PM Modi's younger brother Prahlad Modi also leaves for Ahmedabad
On getting information about the health of the mother, PM Modi's younger brother Prahlad Modi and his family members also left for Ahmedabad on Wednesday. All were admitted to a Mysuru hospital for treatment after being injured in a car accident in Karnataka's Mysuru on Tuesday.
Rahul-Priyanka wished Hiraba to get well soon

Nationwide prayer for Hiraba
Prayers were offered for Hiraba's good health at the Hatkeshwar temple in Narendra Modi's hometown Vadnagar. Rudrabhishek was also performed in the hope of Hiraba's speedy recovery. Apart from this, prayers were also done in Varanasi for the speedy recovery of Hiraba.
Hiraba's health deteriorated even in 2016
Earlier in 2016 also, Hiraba's health had deteriorated. Then he was admitted to the Civil Hospital in Gandhinagar through 108 ambulances like a normal citizen. Not only this but like normal patients, Heeraba was treated in the general ward of the hospital.
Modi met Heeraben on December 4, took her blessings
PM Modi met his mother Heeraben in Gandhinagar on 4th December during the voting for the Gujarat elections. During this, he took blessings by touching the feet of the mother and drank tea sitting with her.
Modi was on a two-day Gujarat tour on March 11 and 12 this year. Then on March 11, at nine o'clock in the night, reached Gandhinagar to meet mother Hiraba. During this, PM Modi had eaten khichdi with him.
