New Delhi, March 8 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday greeted women on the occasion of International Women's Day.

"I salute the indomitable courage & outstanding achievements of women on International Women's Day," Modi tweeted.

"Through various schemes & initiatives, our Government remains fully committed to bringing a positive change in the lives of women," he added.

International Women's Day represents an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women while calling for greater equality.
