Due to heavy rains in Bengaluru in the past, water-logging conditions have arisen in many places in the city. Political rhetoric has also intensified regarding waterlogging in Bengaluru. The Aam Aadmi Party president of the city's Mahadevapura constituency slammed BJP MLA Arvind Limbawali over the issue. The Aam Aadmi Party leader said that the BJP should answer for the submergence of areas, including irregularities in the development of Rajkaluwe.

people had to face trouble

AAP leader Ashok Mrityunjay, while speaking on Facebook Live, said that in 2020, MLA Arvind Limbawali started several Rajkaluve works worth Rs 14.95 crore. Despite this, in just two years, several roads in the constituency have been submerged and houses have been flooded. Whose pocket is the question? Crores of rupees were released to work in the field. The people of the constituency have faced trouble. Limbawali will have to answer this.

Along with this, he said that the quality of work of Rajkaluve in the last two years under the leadership of Limbavali has been very poor. The common man has a right to know whether there was a compromise between the influential people who occupied Rajkaluve and the MLA Limbavali. We challenge Limbawali to speak out about the Rajkaluwe encroachment.

He also demanded a probe into the matter and said that there should be a comprehensive inquiry into the expenditure incurred. The Aam Aadmi Party will release information and question the government on how much money the government has spent on Rajakaluve in Bengaluru.

The local people in Bengaluru are facing the brunt of severe waterlogging due to heavy rains in the area.

CM held a meeting to deal with waterlogging

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, after taking stock of the state, said that it has been decided to release Rs 300 crore to deal with the prevailing situation and maintain the city's infrastructure.

Recently, Chief Minister Bommai held a meeting with the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB), Deputy Commissioners of 15 districts, and senior officials related to rain and floods in the state.

Meanwhile, Bommai said that the central team will reach Bengaluru on Tuesday night to study the rain and flood situation in the state. A memorandum will be submitted and after that, the government will hold a meeting with the team members.
