Actor Praveen Kumar Sobti, who played the role of Bheem in BR Chopra's mythological show, 'Mahabharata', has breathed his last at the age of 74. Praveen, a former Deputy Commandant in BSF, has also represented India in the Asian and Commonwealth Games. He won the gold medal for India in the Asian Games held in Hong Kong. He also gained tremendous popularity in athletics during the 1960s and 70s.

After some time he left AAP and joined BJP.
