
New Delhi, March 20 (IANS) President Pranab Mukherjee condemned the terror attack on a police station in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday that left six people dead including two militants.
"The president called upon security forces to remain vigilant against any threat to the peace, prosperity and security of our nation," an official statement said.
He conveyed "heartfelt condolences to the grieving families of those who have lost their lives in the attack".
Two militants stormed the police station in Kathua district and shot dead a policeman, a civilian and two paramilitary personnel before security forces gunned them down.
