President's Daughter to contest Delhi Polls

New Delhi, Jan 15 (IANS) President Pranab Mukherjee's daughter Sharmishta Mukherjee was among the 15 candidates named by the Congress Thursday for the Delhi assembly polls.

Sharmishta Mukherjee, 49, will contest from the Greater Kailash Colony assembly constituency in south Delhi.

She will take on Aam Aadmi Party leader and former transport minister Saurabh Bhardwaj.

Voting for the 70-member assembly will take place Feb 7.
