Out of 79 MLAs, 42 voted in my favor. Charanjit Singh Channi had only two MLAs with him. Despite this, he became the CM. Jakhar said that after me the maximum of 16 MLAs had named Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, 12 MLAs named Preneet Kaur, wife of Captain Amarinder Singh. Six MLAs voted in favor of Navjot Singh Sidhu.
