In Bihar, Rahul Gandhi is fiercely attacking the BJP and PM Modi through rallies. Meanwhile, in one of his rallies, abusive language was used against PM Modi and his mother, Hiraben. BJP has attacked Congress by claiming this.

BJP claimed that "extremely abusive language" was used against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his mother, Hiraben Modi, during the Bihar election campaign this week. Posters of opposition leaders, Congress's Rahul Gandhi and RJD's Tejashwi Yadav, were put up at this event.

People of Bihar were insulted

In a post on X, the BJP accused the Congress-led Indi alliance of lowering the level of politics and said that Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav's 'Voter Rights' Yatra has insulted the people of Bihar.

BJP lashed out at X and said,

Tejashwi and Rahul allowed such dirty language to be used from their stage, words that are not even possible to repeat. This is such a big mistake that even if Rahul Gandhi apologizes a thousand times by holding his ears and doing sit-ups... the people of Bihar will not forgive.

A 33-second video of the rally in Darbhanga district is being widely shared, in which Congress flags are also seen.

BJP accuses Congress

The controversy started when Congress and RJD workers, led by a local Congress leader, Naushad, stood on the stage and waved party flags and raised slogans. The BJP claimed that it included 'derogatory' slogans against the Prime Minister and his mother.

The BJP also accused the opposition alliance of insulting Biharis by inviting leaders from southern states - Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and his Telangana counterpart Revanth Reddy - to campaign for the Bharatiya Janata Party ahead of the Bihar elections.
