Question on Pawar's role in besieging Uddhav: First BJP won Rajya Sabha, then MLC elections; How did the MLA reach Surat overnight

The way the crisis in Uddhav Thackeray's chair has deepened in Maharashtra, the failure of police intelligence cannot be denied. This department comes under the home ministry of the state and is headed by NCP's Dilip Patil Walse. Along with Valse, the role of NCP supremo Sharad Pawar is also under question in this case. The big question is how did it happen that Shiv Sena's rebel leader Eknath Shinde took 36 MLAs with him from Mumbai to Surat and no one got a hearing.

If Uddhav had come to know about this in time, then he too would have tried to secure his power by doing fencing like Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot. Significantly, in the last 8 years, Ashok Gehlot has been the only leader who thwarted the coup. According to sources, the game of weakening Uddhav started with the Rajya Sabha elections. First BJP got success in Rajya Sabha elections, in which Shiv Sena candidate lost. After that Shiv Sena had to face defeat in the MLC elections. It was said that cross-voting was done in both the elections.

1. The Home Department of the Government of Maharashtra is in the quota of NCP. NCP MLA Dilip Patil Valse is the Home Minister, but the police intelligence activity was not visible anywhere in the rebellion of the Shinde faction. Even a day after the rebellion, some MLAs reached Guwahati, without any effort to stop them. However, Sharad Pawar has expressed displeasure with Home Minister Dilip Valse on this issue.

2. Amidst the political crisis, NCP Chief Sharad Pawar met Uddhav Thackeray on Wednesday. After this, he started to make the leader of the rebel group Eknath Shinde CM. The question is why did Pawar say this? Was Pawar already aware of the entire plan?

3. Political experts say that two NCP ministers Nawab Malik and Anil Deshmukh are in jail. In such a situation, NCP can also enter into a secret pact with BJP to save its ministers. In such a situation, Shiv Sena will be weakened due to break-up, which can benefit NCP in the future.

4. In the year 2019, NCP had an alliance with BJP, and NCP leader Ajit Pawar became Deputy CM. During that time BJP had tried to break the NCP MLAs, on which Pawar intervened and found a solution in three days, but this time he is not looking very active. Why is it that they are not interested in saving their government?

5. The friendship between PM Narendra Modi and NCP chief Sharad Pawar is well known. Pawar has also been awarded Padma Vibhushan by the Centre.

Kamal Nath's story repeated in Maharashtra

On 9 March 2020, about 22 MLAs supporting Jyotiraditya Scindia suddenly went missing from Madhya Pradesh. The next day these MLAs met at a 5-star hotel in Bangalore. During that also it was said that the Intelligence Department had not given proper input to the Kamal Nath government.

The rebel MLAs included six ministers, Govind Singh Rajput, Pradyuman Singh Tomar, Imarti Devi, Tulsi Silawat, Prabhuram Chaudhary, and Mahendra Singh Sisodia. Congress took the help of his friends to persuade the angry Scindia. Milind Deora and Sachin Pilot were given the responsibility, but Scindia did not meet anyone.

Digvijay Singh also went to Bengaluru to persuade the MLAs, but to no avail and the Kamal Nath government fell.

Gehlot's wisdom saved the Rajasthan government

There was a revolt in the Rajasthan government in July 2020. CM Gehlot was already informed about this. As soon as the rebel MLAs started preparing to cross the border of Rajasthan, the Rajasthan Police picked up each MLA from the house and took them to the barricade.

It was alleged that the phones of every suspect were tapped to save the government. The BJP had alleged that the phones of all its MLAs were tapped. A video of Bharatiya Tribal Party MLAs went viral, in which the police even took out the car keys of the MLAs.

Cases were registered against the rebel MLAs. Apart from the police, ACB and SOG were also fielded. The Rajasthan government had even sealed its borders during that time. Security personnel was also deployed at the airport. The fencing of MLAs was done 450 km away, which no one could reach. The Internet was also turned off.
