Lok Sabha Election Results: Rahul Gandhi's first reaction on Smriti Irani's defeat from Amethi and Kishori Lal's victory

After the commendable performance of the All India Alliance in the Lok Sabha elections, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi held a press conference on Tuesday. During this, he congratulated the party workers. At the same time, he targeted the Modi government fiercely. He said that today the arrogance of the BJP has ended.

Meanwhile, journalists also asked Rahul Gandhi many questions. In one question, he asked that Kishori Lal Sharma won in Amethi, but when the Congress fielded him against Smriti Irani from Amethi, then the BJP leaders said that Rahul Gandhi was scared.

On this, Rahul said, the biggest problem of the BJP is that it does not respect the people. The BJP does not know that Kishori Lal Sharma has been working for the Congress for the last 40 years. He has had a long relationship with the people of Amethi. He is aware of the roots of Amethi. In this way, the people of Amethi have given a befitting reply to the insulting remarks made by the BJP.

Let us tell you that in this Lok Sabha election, while the BJP fielded Smriti Irani from Amethi, the Congress did not field Rahul and bet on Kishori Lal Sharma.

Kishori Lal Sharma defeated Smriti Irani from Amethi. On this, BJP had taunted that Rahul Gandhi left Amethi and ran away to Rae Bareli out of fear of Smriti Irani, which is not right in any sense, but in this election, the people of Amethi have rejected Smriti Irani and chosen Kishori Lal as their leader.

Not only this, BJP had said that just like Rahul Gandhi lost in Amethi in 2019, he will lose in Rae Bareli as well, but in this election, Rahul was successful in waving the flag of victory from Rae Bareli as well as Wayanad.
