He has had a long relationship with the people of Amethi. He is aware of the roots of Amethi. In this way, the people of Amethi have given a befitting reply to the insulting remarks made by the BJP.

 

Let us tell you that in this Lok Sabha election, while the BJP fielded Smriti Irani from Amethi, the Congress did not field Rahul and bet on Kishori Lal Sharma.

 

Kishori Lal Sharma defeated Smriti Irani from Amethi. On this, BJP had taunted that Rahul Gandhi left Amethi and ran away to Rae Bareli out of fear of Smriti Irani, which is not right in any sense, but in this election, the people of Amethi have rejected Smriti Irani and chosen Kishori Lal as their leader.

 

Not only this, BJP had said that just like Rahul Gandhi lost in Amethi in 2019, he will lose in Rae Bareli as well, but in this election, Rahul was successful in waving the flag of victory from Rae Bareli as well as Wayanad.
