Congress MP Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra reached Madhya Pradesh from Maharashtra on Wednesday. The first stop of the yatra was Bodarli village in the Burhanpur district. Here at 7 in the morning, Rahul was welcomed by performing aarti. Banjara folk dance artist Reena Narendra Pawar presented a folk dance to welcome him. In his very first speech in MP, he attacked the BJP. Said- BJP first spreads fear and then violence. No one needs to fear India.
Rahul's convoy left Jalgaon Jamod in Maharashtra at 6 am. In MP, the journey started from Bodarli. Former Chief Minister and State Congress President Kamal Nath welcomed them here. Said- Bharat Jodo Yatra will get maximum public support in Madhya Pradesh. The journey reached Burhanpur after walking for three and a half hours.
A scuffle broke out between people involved in the Bharat Jodo Yatra outside St. Xavier's School in Burhanpur. This happened with some media persons as well.
Rahul Gandhi reached St. Xavier's School in Burhanpur at around 11.15 am. The journey will rest here. The yatra will resume at Burhanpur at 3.30 pm. There will be a meeting at Transport Nagar at 7 pm. After the meeting, Rahul Gandhi will stay the night in Jhiri.
