Tata Group's honorary chairman and veteran industrialist Ratan Tata died late Wednesday night. He was 86 years old. Padma Vibhushan awardee Ratan Tata breathed his last at 11:30 pm at Breach Candy Hospital in South Mumbai. He was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital for the previous few days.

Tata's family said, 'We, his brothers, sisters, and family, find solace and comfort in the love and respect he received from all those who respected him. Although Ratan Tata is no longer among us in person, his legacy of humility, generosity, and purpose will continue to inspire future generations.'

 

What did N. Chandrasekaran say?

 

Tata Sons Chairman N. Chandrasekaran described Ratan Tata as his friend and guide. Chandrasekaran said we are bidding farewell to Ratan Naval Tata with deep sorrow. He was a truly exceptional leader whose incomparable contribution has shaped not only the Tata Group but also the fabric of our nation.'

 

Ratan Tata's last social media post

After his death, his last social media post, which he made on Monday, is in the news. In this, he denied the speculations being made about his health and said that he was fine. Ratan Tata had said, 'These claims are baseless. I am currently undergoing medical examination due to age-related diseases. There is nothing to worry about. I am fine. Avoid spreading false information.'

Some reports claimed that Tata was taken to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on Monday morning after a drop in blood pressure. Regarding this, he made a social media post, in which Tata said, 'I am aware of the recent rumors about my health and I want to assure everyone that these claims are baseless.'
