Three Pakistani terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba were involved in the attack on a bus full of devotees returning from Shivkhodi Dham. Lashkar commander Abu Hamza is also suspected to be involved in this. The terrorists used American M-4 rifles in the attack. The presence of a fourth terrorist is also being suspected.
A campaign is being carried out in the forests of Reasi and Rajouri with the help of drones and sniffer dogs in search of the terrorists. Teams of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and the State Investigation Agency collected evidence from the spot on Monday. Investigation officials said, according to the information received from the devotees and eyewitnesses on the bus, the fourth terrorist was providing cover to the attackers. It is feared that the terrorists may be hiding in caves on the high hills of the forests adjoining Reasi and Rajouri.
A two-year-old innocent is also among the dead
Nine people on board the bus died in the attack on Sunday. Of these, three were from Uttar Pradesh and four from Rajasthan. The bus driver and conductor were from Reasi. All the deceased from Rajasthan belonged to the same family. Among them were Puja and her two-year-old son Titu Sahni. Five of the dead have bullet marks on their bodies. Out of the 41 injured, 10 have been shot.
