DDMA has decided that institutions of higher education in Delhi will open under SOPs and COVID appropriate behavior will have to be strictly followed. At the same time, the schools of class 9th-12th will reopen in a phased manner from February 7. Teachers who have not been vaccinated will not be allowed. DDMA has also been permitted to work in offices in Delhi with 100% staff. Along with this, single drivers in cars will be exempted from the mask mandate.

A day before this, there were 3,028 cases of the corona. 3,895 patients have been cured in 24 hours. Due to this, the number of active patients has also come down to less than 14 thousand. At the same time, 13 patients died of corona in 24 hours, which is the lowest during 24 days. Earlier on January 10, 17 patients had died. After this, the deaths of patients from corona had increased. On January 13, Delhi had the highest number of 28,867 cases of the corona, with 94,160 active patients on that day. Since then, the number of active patients has come down by 85.53 percent. 429 patients are on oxygen support in hospitals: At present, 1,234 patients of corona are admitted in hospitals, out of which 429 patients are on oxygen support. Of these, 102 patients are on ventilator support.
