After Britain bowed down on the quarantine rules, now the Indian government has also withdrawn its revised guideline on Wednesday. These guidelines were issued on October 1, 2021, after Britain took a tough stand. Under this, the Government of India had made it mandatory for people coming from Britain to stay in quarantine for 10 days despite having been given a dose of vaccine, and that too at their own expense. Apart from this, it was also made mandatory to bring the RT-PCR report 72 hours ago. Also, testing had to be done even after eight days of coming to India. After this rule of the government, the British government had come on the back foot.

Now the rule of February will remain applicable

After withdrawing the revised guidelines, now the guidelines issued in February will continue to apply. Under this, there will no longer be a quarantine for 10 days and there will be relaxation in many rules.

After India's tough stand, Britain came on the backfoot

The UK was on the back foot after the Indian government's strict attitude and announced that from October 11, Indian travelers who got Kovishield or any other vaccine approved in the UK would not be quarantined.

Kovishield was also recognized on India's warning

After India's stern warning, Britain had given recognition to Covishield in September, but a screw was implicated in it. In this, the quarantine for 10 days was made mandatory for the passengers taking the Kovishield made in India. After which the Government of India took a tough stand on this attitude of Britain.
