Another accused policeman of the Kanpur businessman Manish Gupta murder case was arrested. Head constable Kamlesh Yadav, who is wanted in the murder case, was arrested by the Gorakhpur police at around 1:00 pm on Wednesday. SIT is interrogating Kamlesh Yadav, sub-inspector Vijay Yadav is still absconding in this case.
It is worth mentioning that the accused, Inspector Rahul Dubey, and constable Prashant Kumar were arrested on Tuesday afternoon. Both were trying to surrender in court. Police arrested both of them from the Azad Chowk area and handed them over to SIT Kanpur. The SIT questioned both of them for about five and a half hours.
