25-year-old cricketer Rishabh Pant narrowly escaped in a road accident on Friday morning. According to the police, the accident happened due to dozing off. His Mercedes went uncontrolled and hit the guardrail, after which the car caught fire. She turned around. After the accident, Pant came out of the burning car by breaking the window. He has received injuries on his head, back, and leg. According to doctors, his condition is out of danger.

 

He has been taken from Roorkee to Dehradun for treatment. He is undergoing treatment at Max Hospital here. A team of doctors is monitoring him. If needed, he will be airlifted to Delhi.

The accident took place at 5.30 am at Roorkee's Narsan border at the turn of Hammadpur Jhal. The Mercedes went out of control and hit the divider, after which the car caught fire.

After the accident, Pant was taken to Roorkee's Saksham Hospital for treatment before an ambulance. His condition is stable now. Pant has suffered injuries on his head, back and legs. Dr. Sushil Nagar, chairman of Saksham Hospital and orthopedic surgeon, told Dainik Bhaskar that only after the MRE will it be known which bone in his knee is broken. Pant may also need an operation. After that, it will be known how long they will be able to play.

 

An eyewitness told – fire broke out after overturning

The villagers told that they heard a loud bang. Saw that a car was dragged for a few feet after hitting the divider. Then it turned and caught fire. On the other hand, according to Uttarakhand DG Ashok Kumar, Pant came out after the accident by breaking the window of the burning car.

 

The doctor said – If you were wearing a seat belt, you could have got scorched in the car

Dr. Sushil Nagar told Dainik Bhaskar that Pant was not wearing a seat belt. So they came out safely. Had he been wearing a seat belt, he could have suffered burns after the car caught fire.
