Coronavirus Update: 243 new cases of corona in 24 hours, one patient died in Maharashtra

Coronavirus Cases in India: India (India) is fully alert amid the ever-increasing corona infection in China. According to the data of the Union Health Ministry, 243 new corona infected cases were found in India on Friday. The number of active cases has increased to 3,609. The total number of Covid cases recorded in India till now is 4,46,78,158 and the death toll is 5,30,699. One death has been reported from Maharashtra in the last 24 hours.

 

The recovery rate is 98.80 percent

It has been said by the Union Health Ministry that the daily positivity rate was recorded at 0.11 percent, while the weekly positivity rate was estimated at 0.16 percent. In the last 24 hours, 2,13,080 tests have been done to detect Covid. According to the Health Ministry website, active cases comprise 0.01 per cent of the infection, while the recovery rate has risen to 98.80 per cent at the national level. It added that the number of active Covid cases has increased to 57 in a span of 24 hours. The number of people who have recovered from the disease has increased to 4,41,43,850, while the death rate is 1.19 percent. According to the website of the Ministry, 220.09 crore doses of Covid vaccine have been given so far under the vaccination campaign.

Corona cases in India crossed 20 lakhs on 7th August, 2020, 30 lakhs on 23rd August, 40 lakhs on 5th September and 50 lakhs on 16th September. It crossed 60 lakhs on 28th September, 70 lakhs on 11th October, 80 lakhs on 29th October, 90 lakhs on 20th November and one crore on 19th December, 2020. India had crossed two crore cases on 4th May, three crores on 23rd June 2021 and four crores on 25th January this year.
