It may be noted that Shikhar and Prabhsimran shared a 90-run partnership for the first wicket. Prabhsimran batted fearlessly. At one time it seemed that Punjab would score beyond 200, but the Rajasthan bowlers made a comeback. Put pressure on Punjab by taking wickets in the middle overs.
