Russia Ukraine War: The war between Russia and Ukraine has intensified. Russia claims that about 50 army soldiers have been killed in its attack in Ukraine. Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan said that the Ministry of External Affairs is taking steps to bring back around 18,000 Indians, including students, from Ukraine. At the same time, the Indian embassy in Ukraine asked Indian citizens not to panic and stay safe wherever you are. The embassy said that because of the closure of Ukraine's airspace to civilian aircraft, alternative arrangements are being made to evacuate Indian nationals.
The Indian embassy has issued two advisories within a span of a few hours after Russia launched a military operation against Ukraine. The embassy said that those traveling to Kyiv, which includes the western part of Kyiv, are temporarily advised to return to their cities, preferably to safer places.
