Action on 2 Russian leaders who appealed to stop the war
Two Russian lawmakers have been fired from the Communist Party for appealing to President Vladimir Putin to end the war in Ukraine. The names of these MPs are Leonid Vasukevich and Gennady Shulga. Both the MPs have been termed as anti-nationals. Vasukevich appealed to Putin to stop the war and withdraw the troops.

The two leaders said this during a meeting of the Legislative Assembly of the Primorsky Region in eastern Russia last Friday. The US has announced the supply of state-of-the-art High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) to Ukraine against Russia. US President Joe Biden says HIMARS is most effective in challenging Russian attacks in the Donbas in eastern Ukraine. Advanced Rocket System HIMARS Satellite Guided Missile gives accurate strikes up to 80 km.
Currently, Ukraine and Russia use the Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS). HIMARS is better than MLRS in terms of range and accuracy. It can also fire multiple missiles at a time. The US will provide the M142 HIMARS rocket system. It is an advanced version of the truck-mounted MLRS of 1970. It can fire 6 missiles of 227 mm.
