More than 95 days have passed since the Russo-Ukraine war, and even after so much time, no clear winner has emerged. Western countries are tightening sanctions to surround Russia on the economic front. However, Russia is also continuously increasing its military power through the testing of new missiles.

Now Russia has completed the testing of its new hypersonic Zircon cruise missile. It will be deployed on warships of the North Fleet by the end of the year. According to the news agency TASS, the Russian warship Admiral Golovkos will be the first warship on which it will be deployed.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has described Zircon as a unique armored system of the new generation. This missile is also 9 times faster than the speed of sound. At the same time, the Russian Defense Ministry says that last week it successfully test-fired a Zircon cruise missile from a ship in the Barents Sea at a target about 1,000 km (625 miles) away in the White Sea.

Successfully test-fired the intercontinental ballistic missile Sarmat last month

A month ago, Russia successfully test-fired an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) named Sarmat. These missiles can also carry nuclear weapons with them. 10 or more warheads can be mounted on this missile. ICBM missiles have a minimum range of 5,500 km.

Putin called the Kinzhol hypersonic missile an ideal weapon

Apart from this, the 'Kinjal' hypersonic missile was successfully test-fired in March. Kinzol is a Russian word that means dagger. Putin calls this missile an 'Ideal Weapon' because this missile with a range of 1,500 to 2000 km can also drop nuclear bombs.

This mill was first tested in 2018. The Keenjol missile travels at a speed of 10 times that of sound and is capable of attacking at a speed of 3 km per second.
