Sanjay Raut: Amidst the Savarkar controversy, Raut praised Rahul fiercely, is all well between the two parties?

After coming out of jail, Uddhav faction leader Sanjay Raut has once again become active in politics. They are again coming into the media and giving statements continuously. This time he has stated Rahul Gandhi. He has described Rahul Gandhi as a true friend while targeting BJP leaders. Raut said that Rahul Gandhi is such a person who remains connected as a friend despite ideological and political differences. I have friends in BJP too but they were happy when I was in jail, this is the politics of the Mughal era. From Raut's statement, it seems that now everything is fine between the Thackeray faction and Congress.

Sanjay Raut said that despite his busy schedule amid Bharat Jodo Yatra, Rahul Gandhi called and checked on me yesterday. He said that we are concerned about your well-being and said that take care, and we will work together again.

Has Rahul patched up with the Thackeray faction on the Savarkar row?

Rahul Gandhi's gesture and the Shiv Sena leader's public praise indicate a patch-up after a warning by Team Thackeray. It seems that the leaders of the Uddhav group are ready to forget the statement made on Savarkar and move forward. Or it could also be that Uddhav Thackeray has asked Rahul to refrain from making a statement on Savarkar, to which Rahul has agreed. Last week, Rahul Gandhi, who is in Maharashtra for his Bharat Jodo tour, criticized Veer Savarkar for seeking mercy from the British while he was in jail. He also accused them of betraying leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, and Sardar Patel by appealing to the British.
