Section 144 applied in Gurugram: More than four people will not be able to gather, strict on Covid rules

Because of the increasing corona cases in the district, the Collector and Deputy Commissioner have imposed Section 144 in the district. Now, if more than four people gather at one place, there will be a ban. The rule of closing shops, markets after six o'clock will also be strictly followed.

 

 

The district administration, amending its order issued on April 16, has now imposed Section 144 in the district. It has been implemented with immediate effect since Sunday evening. Action will now be taken if more than four people are gathered.

 

 

At the same time, employees working on government duty, factories supplying essential services and goods, personnel working in institutions, and police personnel will be exempted. Orders have been given to private corporate offices to operate from home till six in the morning after six in the evening till May 3.

 

Permission to be taken for ceremonies:

Outside the Containment Zone, gatherings, wedding ceremonies, etc. will be allowed in compliance with the Covid rules. At the same time, only 50 percent of the capacity or a maximum of 30 people will be allowed in sports venues, indoor halls, etc. 20 people will be allowed for the last rites and funerals. All these have to get permission from the District Magistrate. It is also advisable to hold a wedding or other ceremony only during the daytime.
