The district administration, amending its order issued on April 16, has now imposed Section 144 in the district. It has been implemented with immediate effect since Sunday evening. Action will now be taken if more than four people are gathered.
At the same time, employees working on government duty, factories supplying essential services and goods, personnel working in institutions, and police personnel will be exempted. Orders have been given to private corporate offices to operate from home till six in the morning after six in the evening till May 3.
Permission to be taken for ceremonies:
Outside the Containment Zone, gatherings, wedding ceremonies, etc. will be allowed in compliance with the Covid rules. At the same time, only 50 percent of the capacity or a maximum of 30 people will be allowed in sports venues, indoor halls, etc. 20 people will be allowed for the last rites and funerals.
