More than a month has passed since the Russia-Ukraine war. Before the start of the war, Russia had no idea that it would face tough competition from Ukraine on the battlefield and that even after a month had passed, Kyiv would remain a far cry for it.
According to The Guardian report, a 64-km long Russian convoy equipped with tanks and armored vehicles was heading towards Kyiv to capture Ukraine, but a special unit of 30 soldiers of the Ukrainian army detonated the convoy and forced it along the way. I just stopped.
How did you pierce Russia's maze?
Lieutenant Colonel Yaroslav Honker, commander of Ukrainian Air Force Unit Aerozvidka, said that the biker force of 30 specialists of the unit played a big role in this. This special unit not only forced the Russian convoy to stop but also dispersed them. This unit attacked the Russian convoy in the dark of night on the lines of guerrilla warfare and caused great damage to the convoy with the help of drones.
So did the Russian army upset
According to the report, the special unit lured the Russian army with arms and rations with the help of drones equipped with thermal image cameras, small bombs, and sniper rifles. Honker said that Quads ambush the bike at night. They damaged several Russian vehicles. He told that the fear of this special unit in the Russian army is so much that, they do not move in the nighttime. Rather, they are forced to hide their vehicles and tanks in villages and forests.
Aerozvidka is getting help from Elon Musk
Special Unit Aerorozvidka developed a system that allowed them to get the live location of the enemy. They set up a network of sensors. Apart from this, there was also a digital map, with the help of which he kept on tracking the enemy. This aerodrome managed to intercept the enemy outside Kyiv using Elon Musk's Starlink satellite system.
200 paratroopers were also traced
At the beginning of the war, Putin brought 200 paratroopers to Kyiv to kidnap Volodymyr Zelensky and other Ukrainian leaders. It is now being claimed that the same 30 soldiers' special unit had helped in locating these paratroopers. With the help of this, Ukraine had put the paratroopers to sleep as soon as they landed.
How was Aerorozvidka made?
Aerozvidka, which has become a major part of the Ukrainian military, was started by young people studying at the university. During the Crimean War in 2014, the team of these youth volunteered to fight against Russia. Using his technique and skill, he did a lot of damage to Russia in 2014 as well. Its founder was Volodymyr Kochatkov, who was killed in Donbass in 2015. The unit was disbanded in 2019 by the then Defense Minister but was hastily revived in October last year as there was a threat of Russian aggression.
