Nepal Earthquake: Last Tuesday (September 3), there was an earthquake in Nepal whose intensity was measured at 6.2. During this period, earthquake tremors were also felt in many other states of the country.

 

Due to the earthquake, an incident of landslide in Nepal was also reported, in which a woman was swept away and died. The search operation for the woman is still ongoing by the rescue workers. On Wednesday, he was seen digging with a shovel and hands.

 

On Tuesday, two earthquakes of magnitude 6.3 and 5.3, about half an hour apart, hit Bajhang district bordering India, causing several houses to collapse. During this, at least 16 people were injured, landslides occurred and a main road was also damaged.

 

Police officer Deepesh Choudhary said from the landslide site in Okhla village that rescue workers had found some human remains, indicating that the missing woman had died. He said there were no other reports of deaths.

 

Mountainous Nepal, where earthquakes occur all the time. At the same time, about 9,000 people died due to two major earthquakes in Nepal in the year 2015 (Nepal Earthquake in 20215). During this period, centuries-old temples, and entire parts of towns and cities were destroyed. Reconstruction work is still going on here.
