They show a glimpse of the desperation caused by the slow improvement in the living standards of the American working class and middle class over the past fifty years. They also put forward the fear of whites. Whites are expected to be more diverse based on race, and color and less religious in America.
Economic despair and fears of change have widened the gap between affluent, diverse urban areas and traditional, religious, economically struggling small towns and villages in American political life. In the first category comes the liberal and Democratic sections, and in the second category are the conservative and Republican sections.
