Shahbaz\'s father said- At one time I wanted Shahbaz to become a civil engineer. For this reason, after finishing his schooling in Mewat, he got admission to Manav Rachna International University in Faridabad so that he could become an engineer. It took Shahbaz 11 years to complete a three-year degree.

Ahmed Jan further says- I did not know that in Faridabad his mind was not engaged in engineering studies. He was bunking classes for cricket. I came to know about this when a message came from the university that Shahbaz was not attending classes.

Shahbaz Ahmed can join the team tomorrow i.e. on the 17th of August. The Indian team has to play a three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe. The first ODI is on 18 August, the second on 20 and the third on 22 August.
