Six Killed, 10 injured in Tripura Road Accidents

Agartala, Jan 17 (IANS) At least six people were killed and 10 others injured in separate road accidents in Tripura, police said here Saturday.

"Three people died on the spot when an auto-rickshaw and van collided at Khasiamangal (western Tripura) Friday. The victims were travelling in the auto-rickshaw," a police officer said.

Five other passengers of the two vehicles were seriously injured and shifted to a hospital.

Three people were killed and five others injured in road accidents Friday at Jirania in western Tripura and Panisagar and Ambasa in northern Tripura.
