There is a political uproar over the decision to ban 'Namaz break' in Assam. While BJP leaders are welcoming this decision, opposition parties are targeting it. In this sequence, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav criticized the decision and said that the Chief Minister of Assam did this to gain cheap popularity. Union Minister Prahlad Joshi has now hit back at Tejashwi Yadav's attack.

 

Pralhad Joshi said that are Rajya Sabha, Lok Sabha, and Vidhan Sabha offer Namaz. This is the height of appeasement politics. If I say for worshiping any deity that gives me a holiday on Thursday, will this work? Will the country run like this? What kind of method is this, is it not foolish?

 

CM harassing Muslims to gain popularity

 

On the decision of the Assam Assembly to end the two-hour Juma holiday on Friday, Tejashwi had called CM Himanta Biswa Sarma the Chinese version of Yogi. He had said that the Chief Minister of Assam deliberately kept harassing Muslims to gain cheap popularity.

 

Muslim brothers made a soft target

BJP people have made Muslim brothers a soft target to spread hatred and attract attention. Tejashwi had said that people of all religions except RSS have a hand in the independence of the country. Our Muslim brothers have sacrificed in getting the country independence and as long as we are here, no one can harm them.
