On 28 March there was a 141 increase in the number of infected. The next day it decreased and 115 new cases were reported. After this, the number of infected increased every day. So far, 4 thousand 861 cases have been reported. The disease has spread to 27 states and 5 union territories. 135 people have died, while 361 have recovered from the disease. These figures are according to the website covid19india.org. At the same time, according to the Union Health Ministry, a total of 4 thousand 421 cases of corona infection have been reported in the country till 9 am on Tuesday. Out of these 3 thousand 981 patients are under treatment. 325 have recovered, while 114 have died.
