
New Delhi. Coronavirus infection has reached between the second and third stages. The Union Health Ministry said this on Monday. However, it happened for the first time yesterday in the last 8 days when a decrease was registered in new cases. 489 reports came out positive during the day. On 28 March there was a 141 increase in the number of infected. The next day it decreased and 115 new cases were reported. After this, the number of infected increased every day. So far, 4 thousand 861 cases have been reported. The disease has spread to 27 states and 5 union territories. 135 people have died, while 361 have recovered from the disease. These figures are according to the website covid19india.org. At the same time, according to the Union Health Ministry, a total of 4 thousand 421 cases of corona infection have been reported in the country till 9 am on Tuesday. Out of these 3 thousand 981 patients are under treatment. 325 have recovered, while 114 have died.
India lifts partial ban on hydroxychloroquine and paracetamol
India has taken major initiatives to prevent coronavirus. According to the Foreign Ministry, a partial ban on the export of hydroxychloroquine and paracetamol drugs has been lifted. This decision has been made on humanitarian grounds. These medicines will be sent to the neighboring countries, who look forward to help from India. However, the export will be done on the basis of stock availability after meeting domestic requirements. Two days ago, US President Donald Trump requested India to send a consignment of hydroxychloroquine to combat the disease.
