Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will be eyeing a winning comeback when they face each other in the 18th match of the Indian Premier League 2024 on Friday.

Sunrisers Hyderabad suffered a heavy defeat by seven wickets in their last match against Gujarat Titans while defending 163 runs. Pat Cummins-led Hyderabad have won one of their opening three matches in IPL 2024 and are currently placed sixth on the points table.

Ruturaj Gaikwad-led Chennai Super Kings also suffered a crushing 20-run defeat against Delhi Capitals in their first game. However, Chennai is placed third on the points table in IPL 2024 with two wins from three matches. CSK has registered four wins in its last five matches against SRH.

Everyone's eyes will be on these two players

Scored the fastest half-century of IPL 2024 against Mumbai. Fans will once again keep their eyes on Abhishek against Chennai.

Chennai's new captain Ruturaj Gaikwad has not yet scored a half-century in IPL 2024. Only 62 runs have been scored in three innings. He scored just one run in the last match against Delhi, but he has been the best batsman for his team for the last few years.
