
New Delhi, March 20 (IANS) The minority affairs ministry will host an annual conference of state minorities commissions on March 23 here, a statement said on Friday.
The day-long conference will be inaugurated by Home Minister Rajnath Singh and will focus on the development of the minorities in India.
"During various sessions, discussion will be held on capacity building of minority educational institutions in India. Talat Ahmad, vice chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia will address the gathering," the statement said.
"A session on corporate social responsibility and development of minorities in India will be addressed by S.S. Mundra, deputy governor, Reserve Bank of India," it added.
