Neighboring states have once again tightened their borders due to the rise in corona virus cases in Delhi-NCR after the lockdown-4 was relaxed. Its effect was also seen on Delhi-Gurugram and Delhi-Ghaziabad border on Friday morning.

A large number of people gathered on the Delhi-Gurugram border on Friday after the Haryana government sealed the borders with the capital Delhi in view of the increasing number of COVID-19 cases on Thursday. Due to this, situations like jam occurred here. Due to the border seal, the police is not allowing anyone to enter the border of Gurugram district.

In fact, the Haryana government is tightening the border as Corona infection increases in the districts of Haryana adjacent to Delhi. On Thursday, Home Minister Anil Vij directed the Home Secretary in this context after the situation deteriorated in Gurugram-Faridabad, Sonipat and Ijjar. It says that due to unrestrained movement, cases of corona are increasing in the state. Now only those people will be allowed to come. Whose permission has been granted by the Delhi High Court.

Traffic jams due to strict vigil on Delhi-Ghaziabad border

At the same time, heavy movement of vehicles was seen on the Delhi-Ghaziabad border on Friday. In view of the increase in the number of corona virus cases in the district, the Ghaziabad administration on Monday sealed its border with Delhi, due to which a large crowd of vehicles gathered here.

Policemen here were vigorously checking the e-passes of the people traveling, so traffic jams were seen near Ghazipur on Friday morning. This problem also arose from barricading on the road.

Permission to cross the border is being given only to those who actually have any necessary work. Doctors, police personnel, paramedical staff and media personnel are also being allowed to cross the border with their identity cards.

Earlier, on May 19, the same situation was observed on Delhi-Gurugram and Delhi-Noida border as people came out on the streets in large numbers on the second day of Lockdown 4.0. The queue of vehicles here was more than a kilometer long as police stationed along the border were checking the passports and identity cards of the people.
