Such departments will be divided in the new Nitish government: The party that has the MLA, the share it will have; RJD will get maximum of 21 departments, JDU will get 12

In Bihar, now the discussion on the share of the new Mahagathbandhan government has started. That party will get more share in the cabinet, which will have more MLAs. The Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister are to be sworn in on Wednesday. After this, the churning will start on who will be given in the cabinet, which department to whom, how many ministerial posts will be given to which party, and how much weightage will be given to which party.

Till now the BJP had a big role in the NDA government. The second number belonged to JDU and the third number belonged to Hum. So there was not much problem due to having three parties, but now half a dozen parties are participating in power. Therefore, there will be some difficulty in the distribution of departments. Congress has also sought the post of Speaker of the Assembly.

Bihar has 44 departments. If there is a share in these departments based on numbers, then maximum ministerial posts will go to the account of RJD. It depends on Tejashwi whether he will keep as many portfolios as he has or give additional portfolios to any one minister.

can be divided like this

According to the calculations, Nitish Kumar has handed over the support of 164 MLAs to the Governor. In this, 79 RJD, 45 JDU, 16 Left, 19 Congress, 4 HAM, and 1 Independent have a stake. If 44 departments will be divided, then 3.72 MLAs have a share of one department. According to the numbers, RJD will get 21 departments. At the same time, JDU will have to be content with 12. There will be the support of 4 MLAs of the Left. We and the independents may have to be content with one ministerial post each. Now in such a situation, the parties of the Grand Alliance have to decide whether they divide the departments based on numbers or bring a symbolic system.

Possible faces of the new cabinet

JDU - Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Vijender Prasad Yadav, Ashok Chaudhary, Upendra Kushwaha, Sheela Kumari, Shravan Kumar, Madan Sahni, Sanjay Kumar Jha, Leshi Singh, Sunil Kumar, Jayant Raj, Zaman Khan

Congress - Madan Mohan Jha/Ajit Sharma, Shakeel Ahmed Khan, Rajesh Kumar

Hum - Santosh Kumar Suman

Independent - Sumit Kumar Singh

RJD - Tej Pratap Yadav, Alok Kumar Mehta, Anita Devi, Jitendra Kumar Rai, Chandrashekhar, Kumar Sarvjeet, Bachha Pandey, Bharat Bhushan Mandal, Anil Sahni, Shahnawaz / Shamim Ahmed, Akhtarul Islam Shaheen / Mohd. Nehaluddin, Ramchandra Purve/Sameer Mahaseth, Brother Virendra/Surendra Yadav/Lalit Yadav, Kartik Singh/Saurabh Kumar, Veena Singh/Sunil Singh, Rannvijay Sahu/Manju Agarwal, Sangeeta Kumari/Surendra Ram

Till now 5 departments are with Nitish

However, in these departments, about 5 departments are with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Now there are different ministers in those departments or what they do. It depends on Nitish Kumar. General Administration, Home, Cabinet Secretariat, Monitoring, and Election Department have been with Nitish Kumar.

This time also it is expected that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will keep these portfolios with himself. From the side of RJD, Tejashwi Yadav is made the Deputy Chief Minister. So they can be assigned bigger departments. The road construction department and city development can also stay with Tejashwi Yadav. On the other hand, departments like Health, Urban Development Department, Finance, Commercial Tax, Industry, Agriculture, and Labor Resources can be given to RJD in other big departments.

they can get it

At the same time, talking about JDU, apart from Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, other ministers like Education, Water Resources Department, Planning and Development Department, Energy Department, Welfare Department, Cooperation Department, Disaster and Public Relations Department can be given to JDU. Apart from this, Congress can also be given Revenue and Land Reforms, Public Engineering Department, Prohibition Department, Animal, and Fisheries Resource Department. We and the independents may be given their old portfolios again.
