Sunak is unable to assure inflation relief: In his party's survey, he lags behind the truss by 30 points, cost of living increased by 18%

There is a week left before the announcement of the new Prime Minister in Britain. There is a fight between Bharatvanshi Rishi Sunak and Liz Truss. The key is in the hands of the nearly two lakh voters of the ruling Conservative Party. About 70 percent of the voters have sent the secret ballots to the party office. After a month of TV debates and meetings, Sunak seems to be lagging. In Britain, inflation became the biggest issue in this election.

The voters had expected relief from inflation from Sunak, who was the Finance Minister, but Sunak's model seems to be failing on the issue of inflation. In the UK, the cost of living increased by 18 percent in the last year. Sunak had promised to reduce VAT on energy bills by 7 percent, but during the campaign, he promised to do it at the right time. That's where the game turned around. They could not assure the voters of inflation relief. Now Sunak is trailing Truss by 30 points in his party's survey.

Sunak's image became that of Johnson's throne grabber

Now Sunak and Truss are going among the members of the Conservative Party to ask for votes. It's called Hastings. In such Hastings in Exeter, Cardiff, and Eastbourne, Sunak is being portrayed among party members as a leader who is trying to seize power by betraying former Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

Truss favors reducing dependence on China

Truss, on the other hand, believes that Britain should reduce its dependence on China. Will stop dependence on China for the country's important infrastructure projects. Would like to make the Commonwealth stronger than China through trade and investment. Along with this, Britain should crack down on Chinese-owned Tiktok.
