Apart from this, the Constitution Bench will also hear the matter challenging the constitutional validity of the 103rd Amendment Act, 2019, filed by Janhit Abhiyan on September 6. It enabled the state to make reservations only based on economic criteria in matters of higher education and public employment. CJI UU Lalit told that both these cases will be listed for September 6 and the final hearing in these cases will start on September 13.
