CBI's SIT team will reach Mumbai today in the Sushant Singh case. The Mumbai Police has appointed a DCP rank officer for coordination with the CBI's SIT team. According to CBI sources, the SIT team will investigate there for seven days, then another team will come, this decision has been taken because of the Corona epidemic. It is being told that the CBI team can also visit the late actor's house. Mumbai Police has appointed DCP Abhishek Mookhey for co-ordination with SBI's SIT team.
The CBI had already formed the SIT in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. On this, the CBI met at the headquarters on Wednesday, and the strategy was discussed how this case will be handled. CBI legal officers also attended the meeting. The CBI is still monitoring the Mumbai Police's stand.
After the formation, the SIT team of CBI will go to Mumbai. After reaching Mumbai, this team will recreate the crime scene and interrogate Riya Chakraborty and his family members. The SIT team will also go to the forensic team on the crime scene.
Some key points of SC decision in Sushant case
The Supreme Court in its judgment in the Sushant case said that everyone wants to know the truth of the death of a talented actor. When the Sushant Singh Rajput was sued, then the Mumbai Police registered the ADR. Even after the post-mortem, the Mumbai Police did not register an FIR in this case, not considering it as a cognizable offense.
The Supreme Court said, "The FIR lodged in Patna is correct, and because of this case we are handing over the investigation to the CBI under our special power. Now CBI will look into every aspect related to this case.
Sushant was found hanging from the noose on 14 June
