A video of Pakistan's fast bowler Haris Rauf went viral on social media in which he was seen beating a fan. After the video went viral, Rauf was embroiled in controversy. The Pakistan team was eliminated from the group stage of the T20 World Cup being held in America and West Indies. This has disappointed the fans of Pakistan a lot. However, now Rauf broke his silence on this controversy and said that if someone tries to drag his family in the middle, he will not shy away from answering.

Pakistan's performance was disappointing

Pakistan's team was included in Group A in the T20 World Cup, which also included India, America, Canada, and Ireland. Pakistan had to face defeat from America and India, while it won over Canada and Ireland. Pakistan finished third with four points with two wins and two losses in four matches. Pakistan was defeated by America, which was playing the World Cup for the first time, and the team lost after reaching the threshold of victory against arch-rival India.

What is the whole matter?

In the video going viral on social media, Rauf is seen walking on the footpath with his wife. During this time, he clashed with some people present there. It is not clear in the video what the clash was about between Rauf and those people, but it is believed that they were allegedly taunting him for the poor performance of the team. It is seen in the video that Rauf lost his temper and ran after those people. During this, his wife tried hard to stop Rauf, but Rauf took out his slippers and ran towards the people. However, some people also intervened. In the video, a fan was heard saying, I just asked for a picture.

'I will give a befitting reply when it comes to family'

Breaking his silence on this matter, Rauf posted on social media and said, I thought I would not mention it on social media, but now after the video has come out, I feel it is necessary to speak. Being a well-known personality, we have no problem with people's reactions. They have the right to support us or criticize us, but when it comes to my parents or family, I will not hesitate to give a befitting reply. No matter what profession someone is in, he and his family should be respected.
