Tawang Clash: Now China is talking about friendship, Foreign Minister said - We are ready to make better relations with India

China's statement has come to the fore for the first time after the clash between Chinese and Indian soldiers in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi has once again chanted friendship with India today. He has spoken of maintaining communication through diplomatic and military channels. Wang said both countries are committed to maintaining stability in the border areas.

Wang Yi said that we are ready to work with India for the stable and sound development of China-India relations. The Chinese foreign minister's statement came in the backdrop of the December 9 skirmish between Indian and Chinese troops in the Tawang sector of Arunachal Pradesh.

 

There was talk of agreement on the land in the western region

Following the clash, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said in a statement that India and China held the 17th round of Corps Commander level meetings on December 20 at the Chushul-Moldo border meeting point and agreed to maintain security. According to the statement, both sides have agreed to maintain security and stability on the ground in the western sector.

 

MEA said – both sides were ready to solve all problems

The MEA statement said both sides are ready to remain in close contact and maintain dialogue through military and diplomatic channels and resolve the outstanding issues at the earliest.
