China's statement has come to the fore for the first time after the clash between Chinese and Indian soldiers in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi has once again chanted friendship with India today. He has spoken of maintaining communication through diplomatic and military channels. Following the clash, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said in a statement that India and China held the 17th round of Corps Commander level meetings on December 20 at the Chushul-Moldo border meeting point and agreed to maintain security. According to the statement, both sides have agreed to maintain security and stability on the ground in the western sector.
MEA said – both sides were ready to solve all problems
The MEA statement said both sides are ready to remain in close contact and maintain dialogue through military and diplomatic channels and resolve the outstanding issues at the earliest.
Chinese soldiers were repulsed by the Indian Army in Tawang
