There has been peace on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh for some time, but still, the tension is not reducing completely. Recently, China has done some such activities, after which India has been completely shocked. The Indian Navy has approached the Defense Ministry to further strengthen the country and has asked the US to purchase 30 Predator drones. After getting these drones, they will be able to compete easily with China's Wing Loong II and if needed, will be heavy on other countries including Dragon. The Chinese-armed drone has also been bought by Pakistan and plans to jointly produce it with the original manufacturer, Chengdu Aircraft Corporation.

Indian Navy, which has been nominated as the leader of both Army and Air Force for procurement of MQ-9 drones, has held a meeting of Defense Acquisition Board under the chairmanship of Dr. Ajay Kumar, Defense Secretary, Ministry of Defense at the earliest. After which the project can be approved in principle. Once the DPG approves the project, the Navy will approach the Defense Acquisition Council for approval of the Purchase Requirement (AON), which will be carried out under the Government for Government Plan through the US Foreign Military Sales route.

The Department of Defense Production raised the issue of signing a Memorandum of Understanding with HAL at DefExpo 2020 to develop and sell drones at the Defense Planning Committee meeting, Armed Forces informed that Israeli Drones are in the Hunter role, but US Drones With Hunting plays both the role of destroying terrorists and insurgents. It has also been proven in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Meanwhile, the Indian Army is set to acquire six Heron high altitude drones from Israel on lease and is upgrading the existing Heron drones in parallel with data links and better radars. At the same time, the lease proposal is pending with the Defense Ministry, while the upgrade work has already started. It is known that there is a situation of tension between India and China since April last year. After several rounds of talks, there has been disengagement on some points, while there are many such points where talks are going on between the top military officials of the two countries. Meanwhile, the movement of the Dragon's army is visible towards China near the LAC. Chinese soldiers have also built bunkers in their border in the depth areas. However, Indian soldiers are also fully prepared to deal with any movement.
