Corona vaccine is not available in the country and Prime Minister Modi is celebrating the Tika festival in the country. Modi announced to celebrate the Corona Vaccine festival across the country from 11 to 14 April. It was also widely publicized.
From the Union Minister to the MLA, people appealed to get the vaccine installed. But the result was exactly the opposite. Jyotiba Phule's birth anniversary was celebrated from April 11 to Ambedkar Jayanti, i.e. April 14. But vaccinations, meanwhile, declined by 12% instead of increasing.
The vaccine crisis continues across the country. Many states have spoken openly, but the central government is not ready to accept that. When the state governments spoke about the lack of vaccine, the Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan came down to present the figures himself. It was claimed that there is no shortage of vaccines anywhere in the country.
Despite all efforts, the reduction in vaccination has exposed the claims of the government.
Vaccination reduced from 1.13 crores to 99 lakhs
During the Teeka Utsav i.e. between April 11 and 14, 99.64 lakh doses of vaccine were administered across the country. Earlier, doses of 1.13 crore were made between 7 and 10 April, 1.10 crore between 3 and 6 April, and 99.99 lakh vaccines between 30 March and 2 April. It is clear from the data that vaccination in vaccine festivals has reduced significantly, whereas the purpose of this festival was to increase vaccination.
5 days ago, Modi appealed to the nation
On April 11, Modi had started the Teeka Utsav and said, "Today, on April 11, Jyotiba Phule Jayanti, we are starting the Deshwasi Teeka Utsav. This festival will last till 14 April i.e. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Jayanti. He appealed to the people to get the vaccine. Had said, 'I urge the countrymen to follow 4 things - those who need help getting vaccinated, help them. Help people with COVID treatment. Wear a mask and inspire others. If someone is found positive, then create a micro containment zone in the area.
The Health minister claims - there is no shortage of vaccine anywhere
Amid decreasing vaccination, Harsh Vardhan said on Wednesday that there is no shortage of vaccines in the country. The government of India gives vaccines to every state. It is the job of the states to timely supply it at the vaccination centers.
These states accused the lack of vaccine
Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Telangana, Rajasthan, and Odisha had alleged a shortage of vaccine supply. Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik also wrote a letter to Dr. Harsh Vardhan in this regard. The letter said that 700 vaccination centers had to be closed due to lack of vaccine.
