With the reduction of corona cases in the country, the pace of decline in the number of active cases, ie patients being treated, is also slowing down. Two weeks have passed this month. During this period, only 42 thousand 593 active cases have been reduced, while 76 thousand 177 cases were reduced in the first two weeks of December (December 3 to 17). This month, the maximum number of 13 thousand 140 active cases was reduced on January 4. For the last two days, this figure has not been exceeded even by 1000.

 

On Thursday, 15 thousand 677 infected people were identified in the country. 15 thousand 848 patients recovered and 189 died. 373 active cases were reduced. A total of 1.05 crore cases have been reported so far. Out of this, 1.01 crore has been recovered. 1.51 lakh have lost their lives, while 2.10 lakh are under treatment. Corona updates

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will start the vaccination program through video conferencing at 10:30 am on Saturday. The Prime Minister's Office gave this information on Thursday. During this time, 3006 session sites of all the states and union territories will be connected with the program. In every session, 100 people will be vaccinated with the corona vaccine.

 

The Home Ministry may cut the number of doctors at the Sardar Patel Covid Center. The ITBP recently told the ministry that there has been a decrease in corona cases for the last few days.

 

The Delhi government has extended the Quarantine Protocol for passengers coming from the UK till 31 January. Under this, they will have to remain quarantined for 14 days after reaching here.

1. Delhi

 

On Thursday, 340 people were found infected. 390 people recovered and four died. In terms of deaths, this figure is the lowest since the initial round of corona. So far, 6.31 lakh people have been infected here. Of these, 6.17 lakh were cured, 10 thousand 722 patients died, while 2937 patients are under treatment. In Delhi, 97.8% of the patients have beaten the corona so far.

 

2. Madhya Pradesh

 

On Thursday, 420 infected were found, 598 recovered and eight patients died. So far 2.50 lakh people have been infected in the state. Of these, about 2.39 lakh were cured, 3740 have died, while 7108 are under treatment.

 

3. Gujarat

 

On Thursday, 570 people were found corona infected in the state. 737 people recovered and three died. So far 2.54 lakh people have been infected. Of these, 2.43 lakh people have been cured, 4357 patients have died, 6956 patients are under treatment.

 

4. Rajasthan

 

On Thursday, 281 people were found infected in the state. 384 people recovered and two died. So far, 3.14 lakh people have been infected. Of these, 3.05 lakh people have been cured, while 2744 have died. 5675 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

5. Maharashtra

 

On Thursday, 3579 people were found infected in the state. 3309 people recovered and 70 died. So far, 19.81 lakh people have been infected. Of these, 18.77 lakh people have been cured, while 50 thousand 291 have died. There are 52 thousand 558 patients who are undergoing treatment.
