Jefferies Maintains Buy Rating on ITC Hotels

Global brokerage firm Jefferies has reportedly maintained its ‘Buy’ rating on ITC Hotels following the company’s Q2 FY27 performance, with a target price of ₹220 per share.

The brokerage highlighted stronger-than-expected operating performance. According to the figures cited in the market update, consolidated EBITDA increased approximately 37% year-on-year, exceeding estimates by around 12%.

Excluding the company’s Sri Lankan properties, hotel revenue rose 17%, while hotel EBITDA increased 28%. The business also recorded a 270-basis-point improvement in margins.

Revenue per available room (RevPAR), an important indicator of hotel performance, grew 21% year-on-year. Management fees increased by 25%, reflecting continued business momentum.

JM Financial Raises ITC Hotels Target Price to ₹235

JM Financial has reportedly maintained its ‘Buy’ rating on ITC Hotels and increased its 12-month target price from ₹225 to ₹235.

The revised target reflects the brokerage’s assessment of the company’s earnings performance and outlook. However, target prices are analyst estimates rather than guaranteed future share prices, and investors should review the full research reports before making decisions.

With two brokerages maintaining positive recommendations, the stock remains in focus following the latest quarterly earnings announcement.

ITC Hotels Q2 FY27 Results: Key Numbers

ITC Hotels reported strong year-on-year growth in revenue, operating earnings and net profit for the quarter ended September 30, 2026.

Consolidated net profit: Approximately ₹201 crore, up 51.4% from around ₹133 crore a year earlier.

Revenue from operations: ₹1,054 crore, up approximately 25.6%.

Consolidated EBITDA: Approximately ₹337 crore, up 37.3%.

EBITDA margin: Around 32%, compared with 29.3% in the corresponding period last year.

Hotel segment revenue: Approximately ₹966 crore, up 17.4%.

Hotel segment profit: Approximately ₹206 crore, compared with ₹141 crore a year earlier.

The results indicate that operating earnings grew faster than revenue, while the EBITDA margin improved by around 270 basis points. The company’s branded residences business and recent acquisitions also contributed to consolidated performance.

Why Are ITC Hotels Shares in Focus?

The positive market response follows stronger quarterly earnings and continued growth across the hospitality business.

Higher room revenue, improved margins and growth in management fees have supported operating performance. The reported 21% increase in RevPAR also points to improved revenue generation from available hotel rooms.

Brokerage commentary has added to investor interest, with Jefferies retaining its Buy rating and JM Financial reportedly increasing its target price.

However, daily share-price movements can also be influenced by broader market sentiment, valuation expectations and profit-booking after a rally. A positive quarterly result does not guarantee that a stock will continue to rise.

ITC Hotels Share Price Target: What Should Investors Watch?

Investors tracking ITC Hotels should monitor future quarterly earnings, room rates, occupancy levels, margins, new hotel openings and the performance of its managed hotel portfolio.

The company’s ability to sustain earnings growth while expanding its portfolio will be important in assessing its longer-term prospects. Investors should also compare brokerage assumptions with the company’s actual results and valuation.

The reported ₹220 Jefferies target and ₹235 JM Financial target represent separate analyst assessments. They should not be interpreted as assured price levels or personalised investment recommendations.
