Swami Anand Giri was expelled by the Sriniranjani Akhara on May 14, 2021, on the complaint of Mahant Narendra Giri for having contact with the family and conspiring against the Guru. After this, Mahant Narendra Giri expelled him from the arrangement of Shrimath Baghambri Gaddi and Bade Hanuman Ji temple. Then Anand Giri accused the guru of selling land and getting houses worth crores of some students. The round of accusations and counter-accusations between the teacher and the disciple lasted for several days. The Guru-disciple meeting took place on 26 May at the residence of a disciple of Narendra Giri in Lucknow. Anand Giri had tendered an unconditional apology to Guru Narendra Giri.
